The dark woods awaken me
Eager to make me see
That Death waits for me
To take me out of my misery

Life has been unfair
Now I no longer care
Death has treated me fair
Telling me it's ok to be scared

I walk to the dark abyss
Knowing I won't be missed
A light fog and heavy mist
Reminds me of those who've passed

With a sad and grim face
I know I've found my place
Leaving very little trace
My final resting place

In the woods along the stream
A place I can scream
Let out all my frustrations and pain
Until I am emotionally drained

All the tears I've cried
All the years I've tried
Now the tears have dried
Almost time to take a drive

To the woods that awakened me

That Death doesn't judge me
And it still waits for me
To take me out of my misery
