Funny how there are people who just impulsively throw themselves from the 4th floor of their apartment and succeed and most of us spend months researching methods and still get the anxiety that it won't work

But then sometimes I think maybe we just need to "do it". Maybe we're overthinking it. Maybe impulse is the only way it will work.

I'm sure the majority of them aren't purely impulsive, but I get your point and I agree, why can't we all succeed? Why can't those who are afaraid to do it be brave enough so they can find the peace they need?
It's funny, I aborted my attempts without even drinking my vodka first. Maybe if I drank it before, I wouldn't be here now.

Maybe that's the key is to just "do it" as throwaway123 is saying. It's easier said than done, though. I wish I didn't keep thinking that I'll fail. Am I not suffering enough? how much more do I have to suffer if so? just why...
If it helps anyone the first time I really hanged myself I was in a mental state in which I didn't realize that death was imminent (autoerotic asphyxiation game).

Not sure about "lucky" people when it comes to cbt.
If your pain becomes utterly unbearable, so that you know you cannot go on anymore under any circumstances, then you will end it, regardless of train drivers, family, is the method painful or not etc.
A friend of mine did exactly that: she walked out of the house and threw herself in front of a train. There was nothing stopping her anymore.
Death by train had become preferable for her to continue living.
As long as the situation is not at that stage many other considerations will slow down or stop that process.

Even though I've been thinking about, researching, planning etc to ctb and I feel it's a rational decision the only way I'll go ahead is through impulse. My situation is fucked and one day after I've had a few drinks and had enough of it all is when I'll do it
