• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

    👉 View the ledger here

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Hello!

This is my first post here, I've been reading through everything, but I feel a bit overwhelmed now I'm writing... I'm trying to play it cool... But, I am not cool!

I'll get to the point...

How do you make a living will in the UK?
Can you do it without a solicitor?

Thank you! : )

in Switzerland you only have to signature on your own.

I did it. I don't want any organs, any blood transfusions neither any cancer treatments or life saving surgeries.

I have written whats called an advance directive. It must be signed in order to be valid. Ive given to friends and family who are most likely to step in if you are incapacitated- a soliticitor won't know.
It stipulates what you want and dont want in rhe event of being incapacitated etc.
I will go look for a link for you.
Its advised you give to your g.p / doctor but my concern is it will make them think im suicidal or flag me up. I have given copies to close friends and family who are well aware of my desires should i end up cabbage patch.
Let me find more info for you.....
Hopefully the above link works. The advanced directive form is there. I didn't ever read what it said about solicitors.
