Sounds similar to me living off of SSDI wouldn't mind working but then SSDI goes down I feel I wasted most of my life being alive as much as I like playing video games on console or PC but I don't have much to do.
I often times prefer the virtual world to the real one. It can put you in a dream like state when you've been playing for hours on end. You're also free from most of the societal limitations or taboo.
Video games are like the ultimate form of entertainment since they encompass almost every other form of art or entertainment. I've been making them off and on for a large part of my life and they're no easy feat to create either.

Gaming is one of my biggest distractions and one of the main reasons why I hadn't ended my life earlier. Games, along with technology, provided me with a temporary way to escape and get lost for a bit... But after a while, even that stops working.
