Venting Living in Israel is making me suicidal again

I hate living in a militaristic society and I hate what Israel is currently doing in Gaza (which I consider to be genocidal warfare). The war with Iran seems like the entire thing all over again. My family's pro-war position is extremely concerning to me and I no longer think that they are moral people. The whole thing is basically making me question if life is really worth living and the answer is no, at least not in Israel. I know that things could be worse, but I truly envy people who live in civilized, democratic states

I'm getting sick of it myself. Although I don't live in Israel, I'm having a tough time understanding why all this conflict isn't stopping or at least slowing down,damn.

It's like there's something new every day.

I've seen YouTube videos of guys and girls walking around Israel with assault rifles and I've just been floored by it. It's kind of crazy. You hit the nail on the head calling it a militaristic society.

It's like something out of a video game or Halo USMC.

There is no true democracy, its just an illusion of power for the people. Democracy is just a way to control stupid people like a cattle, by making them think their votes actually matter.

The US is driving a bunch of people to suicide, too. Not meaning to diminish your situation at all, but I think it's bad all over. But, I do know you all have it pretty bad there in Israel, though. Too much of this whole damn world is war-mongering assholes. It's never going to change. History shows us that.

First the terrorists attack civilians and when we attack the terrorists they form human shields and play victim. Thankfully our conflict has temporarily ended. I hope your conflict also ends soon.

I agree that October 7 was horrifying (especially killing 400 people in a music festival, that was really disgusting). At the same time, just as I wouldn't want to kill neo-Nazis, I wouldn't want to kill Gazans just because they support the killing of Jews (and some of them don't even support it). I'd even argue that Hamas members who didn't participate in October 7 shouldn't necessarily be killed.

I'm glad things are better in India though. But I heard about that plane crash and it seems like a lot of people were killed there. The world is in a terrible state right now.
