If you look closer, happiness is just a state of mind made by neurotransmitters, and it's the only thing we aim for. I think that the older we get we tend to forget about being happy and start having a lot of things to worry, like having a career, house, family, car, bills to pay, etc. All those things doesn't matter if it's not what you wish for.

It seems I'm more of a hedonist than anything. Which actually makes a lot of sense right now, because one of the things that finally broke me was when anhedonia set in. All the enjoyment is gone. I can't even eat right, because my sense of taste is broken.
