Discussion Last ditch effort to stay alive

I've decided that I'm going to try TMS treatment to try and stay alive as a last ditch effort. It sounds like my new insurance might pay more than I expected as long as the pre-approval goes through. My worst fear is it won't work. If it doesn't work then I'll cross that bridge if it comes up. I promised my husband I would fight to stay alive a little more so I'm keeping that promise. I have my sn hidden away though if it comes to that still.

I wish you the best with what you are doing. I hope that the treatment helps you and I can imagine that it must be a relief having a way to exit just in case.

I'll make an update if you would like as the treatment progresses. It's about 8 weeks. I'm hoping it works too.I would love to make a post on the recovery thread saying I recovered.

Yes, I would love updates. I do not have good doctors, and was never able to arrange to get TMS, but I was able to have two appointments where I used a small portable machine. It was an interesting experience. It felt like it gave the logical, calm part of my mind dominance over the damaged, emotional part of my mind, making it easier to calmly function, but since that was just one experience with a small machine the effects didn't last. What you're going in for should have much more dramatic effects.
