Hi everyone! I thought it might be helpful to create a megathread for those of you reaching out with questions about this thread I made:
sanctionedsuicide.site
Feel free to take a look. I did my best to make it as comprehensive as possible when I posted it.
If you have any questions, ideas, or anything related to the method, please feel free to share them here! I'll do my best to assist, and I'm sure there are others with experience and knowledge who can chime in as well.
This post will serve as a place to gather all the information we have on the KN method, including what else might be needed and how it compares to other popular methods.
I did want to personally add that I have ordered KN from two sites I located. I will test them when they arrive. For those of you who are thinking of or have ordered KN, here is how to test its purity:
Visual check: Pure KN is usually white or slightly pale yellow, free flowing, and without clumps or particles. If it's discoloured, clumpy, or has specks, it might be contaminated or degraded. Visual inspection should not be the only way to test its purity, but can help!
Solubility test: KN is very soluble in water. Try dissolving 1g in 10β20ml of distilled water. It should fully dissolve with no residue. If anything's left over, that might indicate filler or another compound.
pH test: KN in water has a pH around 8β9. If you have a pH strip or digital pH meter, dissolve a small amount in distilled water and check the result. Way outside that range suggests something is off. Here is how to do it:

Litmus pH Test Strips
pH Test Strips(pH 1-14)

KN (Potassium Nitrite) Method
Firstly, I want to mention that I am not a medical professional, chemist, scientist, or anything of that sort. I'm just someone with a lot of free time and a passion for reading. I recommend that anyone seeking reliable and well researched, documented methods check out both the PPH and the...

- Dissolve ~0.5 g KN in 10 mL distilled water.
- Drop a bit of solution onto a strip using a pipette (don't dunk!!!).
- Match color chart within 15 seconds.
- Ideal pH is 8β9. if it's far outside, KN may be impure.
