Was just about to say the same thing.I can't believe they would house you with or even still do with people who have even more severe mental illnesses. I'm sure there were sane suicidal patients there who just wanted to escape but were forced to experience this shit. Pathetic how they can label you as insane just because you want to die. God fucking forbid.

I've seen this building in person several times. Always creeps me out. Especially knowing it's history. The queens house of corrections is another ominous looking building on LI and it's still functioning. Finally can't forget The metropolitan correctional center in manhattan, aka "the tombs" is another creepy building.Similar threads
