I understand. My birthday is also not something that I look forward to, and I'm always relieved when the clock strikes midnight and it's no longer my birthday. Just so much pressure to be super happy and do something fun on this one day, when I'm pissed off year-round for even being born in the first place. It's also just another reminder of how much of a failure I am and how nothing has gotten better. The whole thing just makes me incredibly sad.
