Hey buddy. I don't know how many percent pure food grade. I asked the price of SN to a chemical dealer. He asked me

+ We are selling technical grade. So this is not what you want.
So mate your SN could be less than 98% purity. Does it say purity? Or did you ask about purity of your SN?
On the eBay site I purchased it from it stated that it was 99.9% purity.
I suppose I'll find out soon enough though.

99.9% is the highest purity I've ever heard. Good shopping. Does the packaging say purity, man? I didn't want to worry you. I just thought it was good to be sure. Perhaps the food grade is more pure. I really do not know.

Sodium Nitrite is Sodium Nitrite. I believe the food agent to be related to the small percentage of chemical they put in as an anti caking agent so it does not all stick together. But I would not let that concern you. Its not as if its being taken for health reasons.
