I really don't know how to do this... like, i've read many different ways to do that here in the SS, and i can't find to figure out, some people say that you need to put the knot above your Adam's Apple, some say that it has to be in the middle between your Adam's Apple and the base of your neck, and the knot type, yeah, on that side it seems that everyone agree on, it's a SlipKnot, ok. But all i get from trying to pass out (to make sure i found the right spot) is a red-ish neck and a neckache, because the string always pinch my skin.

See, i always get super long texts when searching here, with informations that contradicts other users, where do i put it? Where to tie the knot? How to test it? If someone answer me with the simplest step by step, i'll be really greatful, i'm tired of failing :( (i'm not a English native speaker, sooo.. sometimes i get confused with some words but ok).

I believe it's kind of difficult to come up with a one-technique-fits-all when it comes to partial. Our neck anatomies can vary quite a bit and what works for one may not work for others. I just kept trying different cords, knot positions, weights etc until I hit the spot. Took me a few months of trying every day.

I've been trying to put a night robe belt around my neck and pull it tight to die of asphyxiation every night for bout 4 nights in a row, maybe it's because I'm lay down so I haven't got my weight that it isn't working but I've pulled it as tight as it can go, I find what I'm using to be fine it's not uncomfortable because it's soft it does make me dizzy and cause mild headache so it's having some effect for sure, I'm gonna try again tonight but I too have read all different things about where to put the rope,
On the plus side its actually quite pleasant when you start to get faint it sounds wierd but it feels quite nice and doesn't seem to make you anxious, I guess because the oxygens not getting to my brain properly
That's why I keep trying this method because if I can perfect it it's definetly peaceful
I just need to do more research to get it right

Definitely do more research. What you've described will likely never be successful. There's not enough constant or strong enough pressure. A soft robe belt, using your own arm pressure would, at best, only cause a brief period of passing out/sleeping. The second you'd pass out, the pressure you were applying with your own arm muscle would instantly stop and the robe belt would not remain tight enough to lead to full exit. There are lots of resources on this site that are specific to hanging/strangulation that you can get education from about this route.

I actually don't use my arm I use a slip knot and just tighten until I can't tighten anymore because it won't pull anymore and it stays as tight as I pull it but I think if I had something smaller than the belt it might be more effective
But I will do more research thankyou

I just have doubts that most couldn't possibly tie a tight enough, and secure enough, noose with their own hands. Even if th knot was guaranteed to not loosen after losing consciousness. Not saying it's impossible. But highly unlikely to be successful IMO. But I could be wrong. Just mostly going off all the very detailed and excellent educational material I've read. This is my main thought to CTB, aside from SN. I've researched both very thorough.

The reason partial hanging isn't working for me is I always have the biological instinct to stand up from kneeling/different positions before I pass out... does anyone have any advice on this?

I had more luck one third from the bottom of my neck under the Adam's Apple. However I am still here fighting SI.

I only managed to feel dizzy before passing out two times. The first i was doing it in the "wrong" way, but i couldn't hold my breathe until i finally got shut down, the second was a first-try of a new method (the one saying that the knot has to be under the Adam's Apple), but i didn't attached it to a point to hold me, i was just doing it with my arms. Never got it right since then. The second method does allow you to breathe, tho

You can do it for a little time with your own hands tho, like you're using a "drug", you need to feel good to be dizzy. How do you make it successful tho? Where do you put the knot?

This is what worries me, the body's own in-built survival instinct.
