Method Is it necessary to test SN from DMC?

Yes… testing my SN would be thing i'll ever do on this earth, and I might as well do it to make sure CTB is successful as possible. But, let's not forget part of how I got to this point: pure laziness! I'd like to continue this habit into my last days of life

So is it truly necessary to test SN from DMC, a reliable source? Buying the supplies to do so seems annoying, and I don't feel like spending the money on it (I know I know, money won't matter when I'm dead & its important to make sure I'm as successful as possible but I honestly don't care to lol)

Personally I'd say no, it's not necessary, because the chances that you make a mistake in your testing are fairly high whereas the chances that a tried-and-true, reputable source has given you bad SN are low. I also bought from DMC and am not going to test it even though I have the materials to do so; I am not going to introduce unnecessary anxiety into the process.

Enough people have bought and CTBed from DMC that I feel comfortable with it. I don't want to risk messing anything up while trying to test it. If you would feel more at ease knowing then by all means you can, just make sure you're well read on the process.

I couldn't live with the anxiety so I did both blood & aquarium tests. I've known people here to successfully CTB without testing - although they all knew people who had recently tested. I found the process highly stressful but ultimately calming - I have trust issues from abuse & although the tests aren't 100% accurate, seeing a good result in both tests filled me with relief that I hadn't been scammed. It's a personal decision. I couldn't imagine NOT testing, for me. But my cleverer friends whose buses came before mine didn't feel the need at all. Best of luck

Personally I am not. I'm confident from everything I've read about his product. Just need to receive my meto which stuck in the postal strike. I'm really hoping not to see 2025 arrive, but sadly it's looking like I will.

It must be 95%+ to be effective.
Paying attention to every detail is the difference between success & failure .

Mine was from local pet store. I read all the boxes because there were so many. Drops & strips. And it had to measure nitrites (doesn't matter if also measure nitrates, just focus on the nitrites) & it had to measure a certain amount of pmol & not all of them went high enough. It was API brand. Strip test. But they might make a few... Don't recall more than that. Exit & the resources here recommends Bartrovian?? Something like that. Available Amazon etc. Mine looked exactly the same as that though. And results the same. I saw other versions on here but I'm pretty sure (memory problems) that I followed Vizzys SN Bible version plus what it said on the box. But if you can get the B one Exit say, get that one.
