Is it better to find the body at home or just go in the woods and never be found?

I bought N from A...I also have the antiemetics but I can't decide where to do it all because I want to give family the most closure that I can. Any thoughts?

Well I think it's easier for people when there's a body to grieve over.
It seems when bodies aren't found, someone always holds on with hope.
People have a tendency to need that extra assurance physically in front of them, plus it allows them to give their final "goodbyes" and kind words they've never said while you were alive, though I never understood that. For closure purposes, I suppose.
If you're worried about a family member being the one to actually find your body, might I suggest a motel room?

Yea, I thought about a hotel room....but I was going to bring a handgun as a back up just in case for some reason the N didn't work right. Thought that might bring attention in a hotel room. I also thought about leaving a note or sending a delayed email of where I am. I just don't know the best way to go about it.

agree with DrownedOctupus - if you just leave a note and vanish there will be the agony of hoping to find your body so there can be burial and closure.

Maybe in a car parked nearby. So it won't devalue the home. Would be better if you live somewhere cold for less decomposition. Terrible if you live somewhere hot and ctb in car.

Perhaps that will work. Someplace it isn't so supicious but also not crowded, like where people stop to take a nap if needed. You could then have a delayed email or text sent out with your location so someone can retrieve your body.
The same would work for a hotel room, and I think you're less likely to be found too early that way. I don't think it's too suspicious so long as you don't wave the gun around or announce your plans lol. Probably would be a good idea to bring a bag to at least make it look like a normal overnight stay.

It's cold where I am right now so the car thing could work...I was only worried about the gun if I had to use it in a hotel room and then somehow I got rescued. I guess I am just paranoid about being a vegetable if everything doesn't go according to plan. But it sounds like finding the body is the consensus you guys are going with.

I'm not going to do it at home, because I live with my parents. I don't want my parents see my body and my mom is very superstitious. I don't want to haunt her house. If you go to the woods, and turn on your phone before take N (and you have cell signal there) police will find your body easily

I won't have cell service in the area I am thinking about going. I def don't want to devalue my home as I own it and my family will get the money once it sells. Sounds like I will go with the car somewhere that I won't be found for a day or two is the way I am leaning at the moment.

"Never found" is something you may not have control over, unless you're going to throw yourself from a ocean going liner maybe.

But I think you're right to consider such questions because, imho, it is a big consideration. Finding your dead body won't be pleasant for anyone, family or no. I personally don't want to traumatise some unsuspecting dog walker who might discover my body hanging from a tree. Equally, I'm not happy with the thought of some poor (probably literally) hotel worker finding me when they come to clean the room - their jobs are hard enough as it is what with the way some people behave. I don't want to make people I don't know have to deal with finding my corpse. It really isn't something that they ought deal with. Police, fire crew, paramedics, ambulance workers etc - I can just about handle that (though I'm not entirely happy about it in truth) because it does kind of go with their job, but not other people. That's not fair imo.

I think you're right to suggest that it will give your family some kind of closure if your body IS found, so personally I think that that is the way I'd go. No, I'm not happy with causing my 'nearest and dearest' the distress of finding me but, within the context of what's happening, I think they would be the people best equipped to handle it.

So what I'm saying, in summary, is do it at home. That's only my opinion however (and I'm not usually quite so forthright) and I totally respect the opinion of others.

Man, you bring up a really good point. I completely agree with everything you said about random innocent people or family having to deal with my body vs law enforcement or other people in that field of work. This is literally the only reason why I am still here. I can't decide where to do it and how to leave a note.

I plan on msging my local PD on FB or something with name and that i ended my life and to come to place an pick the body up discreetly (ill leave a key in a hidden spot).It'll take them hours to respond and ill be long gone by then since i wont give them my address and it only take 30 min to go from my method.

I guess that would work if you took the N and then fell asleep and passed out into water? I thought about taking it on the edge of a cliff...so I don't think your idea is to crazy but maybe that is just me.

I doubt there going to be monitoring there messages all night, ill be doing it at my apartment. there is no way they make it in time. they will first want to get in touch with me so they call giving me 10 min head start if they were watching at exact time

If you threaten to harm yourself they can ping your cell immediately to find your location and they don't need a warrant to come into your house because it is a welfare check. Maybe in your area they are slow but in mine they are fast. I have dealt with it before with them...just and fyi.

I sometimes thought to go to any country far away to ctb (may be a jungle or a desert), so they don't found the body and didn't find the cause. I believe they would prefer to don't know if I'm alive or dead. During the last 5 years any from my family has talked to me. My case is easy. But not everybody is so detached to its family.

Just tell the staff at the motel that you don't want to be bothered and put a "do not disturb" sign on your door.
