No, that sounds like a really bad idea. There are ways to get anti-emetics, even if it is over the counter like Buccastem. The PPeH says that an anti-emetic is not a luxury item but a necessity. I completely agree with that.

You said PPH states it's a necessity. So I'm saying, yes it is for SN. It doesn't say it's necessary for N. And this has been discussed as nauseum on this site about N causing vomiting and the concensus is that it's quite rare. Nitschke himself says the fear of vomiting is more of a concern for people who have medical conditions which cause nausea and vomiting or people who take medications that cause nausea or are on chemo. Even the author of the N files thread said they won't be using an AE.

That's all fair and well but you will find that most people would take an anti-emetic with N if they had the choice. They even give anti-emetics to dying people in euthanasia clinics before giving them N. Better to be with than without.

I won't because meto can have really nasty neurological side effects and I already have enough things wrong with my brain. So I'm definitely choosing to not take one and just trust it. Might take Zofran if it ever comes to that but definitely not meto. To each their own.
