I've seen some people saying that it is no longer recommanded as it can "increase time required to die". Is it true? Should one use beta blocker or is it better to skip it?

The new recommended method says not to use it. It says you should only use an antiemetic(metoclopramide) 40 min before SN and benzo's taken together with the SN.

What method are you referring to? PPeH April 2022 edition regards 𝛽-blockers as the most effective potentiator (meaning it increases the effectiveness of the drink), however Stan's guide regards it as a luxury that doesn't have any significant effect

Oh damn I've got my beta blockers prepared and now I'm confused whether or not to use them.

I read This Updated guide and am, still going to do the Anti Anemic's 2 days before, but not take the beta blockers. Have a bunch of benzos but I have a really high tolerance, so I am going to take them a bit before reccomended as I know they take a while to kick in. Ideally I would like to be completely unconscious as soon as possible.
