Discussion is being introverted bad?

people have been commenting on how "introverted" and how big of a loner i was, even in my highschool years and how it makes me a loser, tell me - am i bad for wanting to be left on my own?

haha, no its not - only a v unintelligent person would say these things - i would say introversion makes some dumb people feel threatened, because they dont know what your thinking, and also they don't understand how you could want to be alone, because they couldn't imagine wanting to be in their own company. ppl are gonna give you their stupid unsolicited opinions for the rest of our lives , my advice would be to say fuck you to them

I love being alone 95% of the time. I can entertain myself for weeks. I don't think it's a personal/moral failing or something. A lot of extroverted people can't really relate to that and don't care to understand. IMO, it's pure projection on their part.

It depends on whether that's what you truly want. If you actually feel good being alone and you want to be left alone, then that's okay. However, if you are an introvert and you can't form relationships, even though that is what you wish for, then that is a problem.

That's pretty silly. I'm introverted too. Some other people cannot exist without support.In fact, they can't even fathom how you can be alone.They are the weak ones, not you.

Of course not, it's simply part of who you are innately. If it was some kind of personal failing, half of the Earth's population wouldn't be introverted (or be ok with it). Your type of social interactivity is not any less valid than someone's who requires company 24/7, or anything in-between.

Now, we also shouldn't propagate the negative chatter about extroverted folks, like how a lot of neurodivergent people casually shit-talk neurotypicals, almost using that word as a slur. No, just because they might have an easier time fitting in socially doesn't make it ok, nothing does.

Let's all be nice and accepting of everyone, whenever possible

It's not only not bad it's good that some people are introverted. Also it doesn't have stay that way if you don't want. I was a very shy person when i was a teenager but i changed a bit and now enjoy being among people though for a limited time but i really enjoy it. I like to look at other people now when before i wanted to be invisible and not see anything my eyesight became worse and i developed tunnel vision. My field of view is normal again now.

Introversion just makes you an unknown variable in a social system that prefers predictable, exploitable and interdependent people. If you can figure out how to be introverted but also satisfy your needs in a socially reciprocal way, whatever anyone says about it doesn't fucking matter.
