Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

I feel this is quite common, though I would like to hear about how some people do this/self-harm in specific/odd ways.

Personally, I like to sleep on the floor despite having a bed right next to me as a way to tell myself that I do not deserve the material life that I have nor the caring people in my life.

Though one thing I find odd is that my family is awfully suspicious about this habit (and the fact that I don't wear a coat when it's "very cold" outside, which it usually isn't), I feel the reaction from them isn't really proportional to the amount warranted by the implications of the actions itself.

Maybe this is not so strange, if so I apologize, but I'd still like to hear about how different people engage in pleasure deprivation.

From what i observed, pleasure deprivation can be divided into 2 types.
One, a form of self harm or self inflicted punishment like you stated. "I do not deserve nice things so i will purposely avoid them even if they are readily available to me". Even if those things are considered bare minimum of human existence like food or shelter.
Other, stemming form anhedonia goes "if i can't get pleasure from certain activities or things then why even bother and keep trying?"
