getting desperate for a way out and despite carbon monoxide being my number one death by impact is my best bet since i'm in a apartment 14 stories high. i looked it up and everything says anything above 10 stories is fatal on the side below is a road. how likely is it i will die on impact and any suggestions? as well as could i take numbing or like pills to make me dizzy. someone times on roller coasters people pass out i wonder if i can pass out before i hit the ground.

I thought passing out from making a massive jump is kinda a myth.
Jumping doesn't seem like a good way to go tbh.
Sorry, maybe others have better expertise here.

Falling from 14 stories onto concrete will more than likely be fatal. It will take you seconds to hit the ground, you don't need to worry about passing out before then.

I already bought a ladder to jump from a 150 meters high bridge into a river, but there were so many variables that the ladder is already hidden for months.
I don't wanna end as a living plant, that's my worst nightmare.

i just don't understand why my family would keep me alive if i ended up like that. i can't even imagine. like brain dead patients are legally considered dead. there's no point. wish you the best of lucky on your journey and plan 💗

Yea that would be my worst nightmare.
I feel pretty stable at the moment, the ideation is still haunting me though.
It comes in waves really, also this forum gives me something to do which helps calming down the ideation.

Wishing you all the best aswell

150 feet onto land/250 feet into water for a 95-98% chance of death. The higher, the better until ~1500 feet whereupon terminal velocity is reached. Note that jumping can be somewhat unpredictable because of factors like body position and landing surface.

As the height of a story varies somewhat, I can't say whether 14 stories is enough.

Highly unlikely that you would pass out before hitting the ground unless you have a very weak heart or something
