Help I’m tired of trying

Hi! I'm new to Ss, but I've viewed the site a few years ago after my partner passed away she meant a lot to me more than words can describe yet I tried for her despite the depression, despite everything in my life being so hard. What pushed this thought further was my now ex breaking up with me. It wasn't the break up that hurt it was knowing I wasn't enough and that—that just broke me because I already felt that way before, but hearing it is another thing.

I have no family really and a few people I considered friends. I don't have it in me to keep trying anymore.

I considered what I can do, but I admit I'm a coward and would like something painless.

I would love some suggestions, please.

I relate a lot to that desolation you describe. I've exhausted all the good I had in me in the process of trying over and over and more diligently and differently and... I am just exhausted at this point. I just want to go. I did have very similar experiences to the ones you mention so reading your post soothed my heart a little bit because it means I'm not as alone in this sorrow as I feel.
