Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

I'm happy to have lived in misery, long enough to know that animal cruelty is now a federal crime

Meanwhile, animal testing is still rampant and Elon Musk is implanting computer chips into monkey's brains. I think the laws on what constitutes animal cruelty need some work.

I definitely agree. There are many forms of cruelty like zoos, circus, animal testing for cosmetics, poaching, fur industry, animal breeders and Mills but definitely a big step. I hope they keep amending to end all suffering.

I'm SO tired of people whining about how zOoS aRe CrUeL
Completely ignoring the fact that there's hundreds of species that would be extinct without them. They have constant on call access to trained professionals to make sure the continuation of their species is actually guaranteed and if you let them all go back in the wild, those poachers you're complaining about are gonna shoot em all and the animal itself will go extinct JUST like the black rhino did
You know why they went extinct? Poachers and loss of habitat. Mostly poachers though.
You know why they couldn't be saved? Because there weren't enough of them in zoos to do so

No need to be rude. No one told you to read this, so only you made yourself "so tired".
If you follow news, you would know there are irresponsible zoos because of lack of funds or whatnot and animals are dying of starvation and lack of proper medical care. Have you even heard of roadside zoos? If not I suggest you look them up. You need to know there are good and bad with everything. So before you say zoos are beneficial really do your research. But since you say zoos are good. Okay, well what about being in cage so often and just watching people staring back? Imagine yourself living in a cage. Some animals are in cages and have no freedom to be free. But again that's with house pets too. Sure they may be safe inside but wouldn't they be more free outside. Who are we to decide what's best for these animals. Sure they may be safe from the poachers but again it's the people that's the problem. If there are no poachers, if there are no greedy people who are okay with making money by exploiting the animals. So again do more research before "you're tired" of reading these things. I'm not going to sugarcoat just because you don't want to believe there are awful zoos out there.

Obviously there is but that's not the majority. You said zoos as a general statement. Basically what you're saying Is youd rather have entire species extinct due to poachers and massive environmental impacts completely dismissing ALL the good they do and ALL the aid they have contributed to in species not being wiped out because
"Obviously my house is more important then a fuckinh animal"
Every day more than 200,000,000 animals are killed for food around the world. VO - Vegan Outreach - is educating young people in schools and colleges about animal cruelty in factory farms. https://veganoutreach.org/why-vegan/
"Many of the nation's most routine animal farming practices would be illegal if perpetrated against cats and dogs." Jonathan Lovvorn, Chief Counsel, The Humane Society of the United States
