My thoughts is that if you want your record collection then stay alive!!!
Love of music can be a way to stay alive!!
It kept me alive for years.
I loved it so much that I learned to play drums & percussion and played in bands & recorded.
Maybe your music collection could be a cornerstone for building a life around.
Just my 2 cents worth...
