You can always say your taking a break in the user discussion thread. That way if someone asks about you, it will be there.

I think so, at least as far as I'm aware, as I've seen people on here saying this is their 2nd account because they self banned their first one but then decided to come back and couldn't retrieve their first account.

Yep, you just have to use a different email if you've deleted your own account. If you've been banned and do it that way and people recognize you, you'll just be banned again.
