Method If any is annoyed by receiving an alert from a prolific 'liker' - here is how to stop them

Go to their account details and you will see a box called IGNORE. Press that and the alerts will stop, they will still be able to like your post but the spam that is the notification of them doing it will stop

Or you could just go in your settings if you don't like getting too many updates, you can customize quite a bit of things

If someone likes what I wrote and genuinely likes it then I am really happy to get a positive response. When someone habitually just clicks like for the sake of it just trying to get their posting level to a world record level, then, for me its annoying. Especially when you have asked that person not to do it. Then immediately does it just to annoy you. So I want to keep the alerts on because I like them, but only for the genuine ones. We have to accept that things that annoy me may not annoy you and visa versa.

nop it's only creepy and or stalky if you like the same person's posts over and over and only them

I think it would be a much better idea if the "like" counter counted only likes received from others rather than just seeing how many posts you can click the "like" button for no reason other than for some stupid high score. As it works now, it's just a nuisance.

When like-spammers like your posts, they don't actually like the post you've made.

She used to like mine then one day just stopped and has never liked a single comment of mine since. Maybe she's got high standards and I've been slipping lol.
