Method I want to use a gun to CTB, but could I do a hard drug right before to cancel any pain i might feel?

Like if i did heroin/morphine/fent/etc, would i still have enough intelligence and competence to pull the trigger correctly? Or would i be too deranged or lethargic?

I dont feel like many people discuss the gun + drug combo. Overdosing on opioids is apprantly one of the most peaceful ways to die, but if I pair it up with a shotgun blast, then i dont have to roll the dice on an overdose death happening. Just feel great for 30 minutes to an hour, and pull the trigger. Boom, a painless yet 90% probable death.

Any current/former addicts that can weigh in on this? Has anyone else had this plan before? Im also open to any other pain killing drug, so long as it reduces pain substantially and would keep me intelligent enough to prevent a failed attempt

I'm not someone who has done pain killing narcotics. The closest thing I've experienced is novocaine injections at the dentist. My understanding is there's a lot of uncertainty on how they'd affect you depending on which opioid drug(s), your own weight/body composition and tolerance for that drug, how you source them, and at what dose. You're looking for certainty, and that's not something I can give you on this proposed method.

I'm using a gun as well. I'm just doing alcohol and maybe and edible or some weed. The thing is, is that once you pull the trigger, you're going to lose consciousness. If you feel any pain at all, it'll be for a split microsecond and then you'll be gone. So, relax. I hope you find peace as I will.

ideally, you shouldn't feel any pain at all. when you shoot yourself, the goal is to both sever your brainstem and damage your brain so severely that you die instantly. if done correctly, you won't even register what happened.

if you're using a shotgun, then that's especially true. i can't imagine that a blast to the head from a shotgun would leave room for any last thoughts.

unless you just want to go out while feeling euphoric, then there shouldn't be a need for drugs to kill the pain. though i suppose they would be useful just in case something does go wrong.
