I want to pull my hair out

I've stopped this habit because, and i know it sounds silly, i don't want to cause inconvenience to my future self in case she's in a better headspace than I am. Hair takes a long time to grow and I've already lost a significant amount. I don't want to take it from her because of my lack of self control. I don't want a future, better version of me to be upset so the current miserable one can get a quick fix.

I hope that you manage to quit, pulling hair sucks.
It doesn't feel like much until it is.

That really sounds like it would hurt. I never pulled my hair but it is thinning due to my age. (I bet I could be your grandma! ) It is really nice that you have hope for your future self and want her to do well. It is good to be kind to yourself. I hope you can get past pulling. You sound like a lovely young lady.

The smart ass in me wants to say that is a very ineffective method.
The serious side is glad you are stopping. I will guess this is stress related. There are better ways to handle stress. Is there anyone you can talk to about this issue? Any method to.process this is a less damaging way
