It is all too easy to die by hanging. People accidentally kill themselves doing exactly what you're doing all the time. If you keep trying you will certainly kill yourself eventually even if you don't mean to. One day your legs will go limp and you will black out before you can stand up, but maybe not before you realize that you've just killed yourself.
A thicker ligature like a scarf, or a necktie with knots positioned over the carotid arteries will make your experiment far more deadly for yourself. But for guaranteed death, I've just seen an illustrated pathologist report on a man who hanged himself with two cable ties. It was horrible. The ties had sunk deep into his neck. Haemorrhaging from every facial orifice. I can send you the link if you like. But please don't do that. If I was present I would try to stop you.
It was very easy for me to find the cable tie trick, and it would have been just as easy for you to simply do a little online research yourself in order to answer your own question, without having to announce on this forum your intention to hang yourself, thereby inviting an intervention. So now you need to ask yourself what's the real reason that you wanted somebody else to know what you were planning? Do you know what you're doing? If you're tired, you should rest, and then feel less tired. You shouldn't hang yourself?
