I remember when two students at university who told me life is full of suffering

They were both very handsome lol. One of them looked me in the eye on the pavement and asked me about how much suffering there was in the world. He said this rhetorically, as if to make a statement. The other student told me that yes the world is a terrible place. This was during a politics lecture when we were learning about the slave trade. My friendship with this guy didn't work out as i sent him this weird facebook message that seemed like I wrote it when I was on LSD or something. The first guy argued that most ppl aren't even conscious. What do u think? Are these guys right? I think they are, 100%

Yes, life is full of suffering. It is all based on luck, some people are disadvantaged right from the start due to factors they have no control over. We are born into a world where there is no limit as to how much we can potentially suffer. Humans are such selfish beings too.
