In a thread I read that 21g of tablesalt in a 50ml glass of water was approximately the same flavor as 25g of SN so I just drink it in one shot

God, how horrible, I don't know how I didn't vomit, I had to brush my teeth, I don't have anything sweet but I had to drink water.

If it's going to taste like this, I'd rather shoot myself and die in agony
I guess I can handle it lmao fucking life T_T, but I won't be able to drink more water than stipulated since it would cause me to vomit and then, I won't be able to brush my teeth u.u

People have mentioned putting it in capsules but that would require like 20 - 25 large capsules and I don't think it's realistic to swallow that many quickly + risk of SN not entering blood stream as quickly as drinking so prolonging process.

well, just tried it with 100ml, before i did a mistake and did it with 500ml wich was totaly bearable. With 20g in 100ml the taste is awful but drinking it is very fast so it is an extremely short inconvenience and for me it stay bearable even if a bit difficult to go through.

It was a bad idea to ingest so much salt, salt in these quantities are dangerous for the health and can result in nausea, vomiting and eventually other complications. Do not try to use salt to have an overview of sn taste.

OP, can you amend your post with a clear warning that this is NOT a safe way to see what SN tastes like? I feel like people reading might assume it's safe because it's "just" table salt.

I hope you have some way to see a doctor if your symptoms don't resolve soon; you don't have to say anything that is suspicious for CTB, you could say you accidentally took several salt tablets at once because they were right next to your other pills/supplements, or something like that. I agree it's important to let people know that trying out the taste isn't worth the risk of kidney and heart problems.

This has been my main problem as well. As ridiculous as it sounds, I already hate drinking just pure water… and the idea of drinking such salty mixture doesn't sound bearable at all. I really want to take it with chocolate milk tea, for example, but I heard taking SN with anything but water is not advisable… I wonder though if it's worth the shot having it with milk tea as it at least would reduce the chance of wanting to vomit, but potentially slow down the absorption of the SN (I'm not sure, can someone please educate me on this?).

If anyone have tips to drink it without having to deal with such intense taste, I would really appreciate it.

Sure, the responsibility is on the reader to research and make good choices, like always. But when it's something people eat every day already, and it's talked about in a really casual way with laughter etc., people are more likely to assume it's "no big deal". There's already a response from someone who sounded like they tried it not knowing the risks, then came back two days later to warn others.

25g is a potentially lethal dose, depending on body weight, and less than that can cause permanent problems that require medical treatment to fix. Most people wouldn't want to risk that just to find out the taste, and since putting a warning in only takes a few seconds, IMO it's worth it.

That's my current plan, maybe use water/mouthwash to rinse the taste and a little candy afterwards.

Didn't measure the dose, I got drunk and sipped on a mixture (mixed with a water bottle, drank half with consuming alcohol) and passed out after a hour or so. I imagine it could've been permanent if I had drunk the whole thing or did it faster. Maybe other people had different experiences but I'm willing to sip on SN for 10 minutes if it'll get the job done because I can't down it all in one go

maybe if u like try to get the SN water right into ur throat so u dont taste it as much

Sorry for the stupid question, I read a good part of the SN megathread but I didn't understand why putting that much SN in so few water.
If it'd be dissolved in more water (400 ml for example) would it take significantly longer for SN to act and thus cause more pain?
Why not having it absorbed by the rectum if the taste is horrible? Does it cause discomfort to the area? That's how a lot of people OD on spirits.
