I've researched using CO a little. It's could be quite difficult using the exhaust from a vehicle, because all cars have a catalytic converter nowdays, which drastically cuts down on the CO coming out of the tailpipe. I'm an older guy, I had a friend off himself when he was 17 by shutting himself in his garage with the car running. But that was back in the 70s, before catalytic converters. I'm thinking of using my gas generator shut up in the garage. I've read in the news several times about people accidently dying of CO poisoning during power outages, because they didn't have adequate ventilation for their power generators. If all goes well, yes, I believe you just pass out and then die. But if your not successful, (get interrupted, motor dies before you, not enough CO concentration) you can end up alive with brain damage. Burning a charcoal grill with lots of charcoal inside a house or garage could work too, but I don't want to burn the house down!
Any thoughts on using CO from anyone else?
