a bit of a benign-sounding complaint, but it fucks with me either way. i'm a very extroverted person. i feel most energized when i'm around other people, i thrive in social settings, i love meeting new people and take nearly every opportunity to do so. i think mbti tests are pointless (fun, but pointless), but for what it's worth, i scored nearly 100% in the extrovert category. i'm sure there are more things i could say, but i digress.

anyways, i fucking hate people. i hate everyone. i have a lot of friends, but they all end up disappointing me or just fucking irritating me. i wish i preferred being on my own so i didn't have to deal with these annoyances so often. i love being around others, but i hate everyone individually.

Kinda same but not kinda same. For me I just cant be alone. I wish i could be alone and be enough for myself. I cant stand people but i cant do it alone. Theres only like 3 people or something that Im comfy with thats all. Wish u the best

I'm confused I thought extroverts love people? As an introvert I want to say I'm thankful ocassionally for extroverts as I would never leave the house without them bugging me to

That does sound like a complicated situation to be in. I'm weirdly the opposite. In that I feel more of an introvert in terms of actually being around people. I certainly suffer from social anxiety in many ways. I'm ok alone, yet, sometimes I feel better after random social interactions- if they happen to go well. So, I'm scared stiff of what could or very possibly could not help me. Bad interactions stay with me for decades.

I guess we all just either have to adapt our thinking/ responses to cope better in situations which are healthier for us- a mix of social and alone periods I guess. Or, we plumb for the lesser of the evils and stay slightly stuck. I tend to isolate because it feels safer whereas I guess you socialise yet feel frustrated with it.
