Venting I feel pushed towards ctb earlier due to all the crackdowns on SN, drugs and even antiemetics

I feel like I could postpone ctb a few years maybe, but the fact that they are coming for SN worldwide and currently in my country crack down harder on illegal drugs (making it harder to get benzos) makes me anxious. They are even starting to fear monger about pregabalin/Lyrica, which I'm prescribed, so it's just a matter of time when they'll cut me off that.

I have most of what I need for the SN method, but all of these have expiration dates, so I feel pressured due to those.

I don't even wanna think about the dystopia nanny state when my drugs have expired and there will be no source to buy from.

Having a method ready, and sources to buy from as well as some recreational drugs, gives me so much peace. But looking at the future of politics makes me anxious.

At least maybe they could go all the way and introduce the death penalty for drug possession, then I'll take that risk haha.

But that's what government restrictions do: they just push me FURTHER towards ctb rather than "protecting" me.

I know what you mean. My SN expires next year. My antiemetics are long expired. I daren't try and get more- with one welfair check already on my record. It also makes me nervous trying to obtain other methods.

I think you can use them after the expiration date- so long as they have been unopened and stored correctly but, it still makes me nervous. It's worrying enough as it is.

It's unlikely to 'rush' me into it- my suicide still hinges on my Dad going first but still, it's uncomfortable to have at the back of my mind.

Beside 100 meto tablets, I already stocked up benzos last week from my trusted plug, both long and short acting, and put them all in a water tight passworded security box safely stored in my cool basement. Because their prices have risen now already. They expire in 2027 and 2029 respectively. I also have some benzos from a legitimate doctor prescription which I don't touch until the day of muerte. Next I wanna stock up on some coke and ketamine and oxys before prices rise and all plugs have their social media closed and/or get arrested. I really see no positive coming in the future. It's like the world is ending for me.

yes the future is looking quite dystopian.you're quite lucky being able to plan like this and have all these sources though.

Yeah. The fact it's getting harder and harder to get ANYTHING to ctb just feels like kicking those already down on the ground.
It's probably the fear of loosing workers to ctb.

I mean...at the end of the day, there is so many ways to ctb, the government in the end is just making people have to choose more horrific ways to do it.

Best method Imo is the firing squad. Receive 50 bullets in a matter of seconds. Also dying at the hands of another so no SI involved.

Aren't some antiemetics OTC, therefore easy to get? For example it's used in drugs for locomotive syndrome (when you vomit during travel), although OTC might not be as powerful, obviously. Maybe a higher dose does the trick.

I agree that dying from a firing squad seems pretty fast, but I'm not sure how good that is in reality. Movies make it seem reasonably fast, but is that the case? Who would waste 50 bullets like that? Maybe take one and hope it instantly kills you, otherwise bleed out over a few minutes, maybe they'll take your "corpse" while you are still alive. If somebody lives in a system where firing squads are a thing, it is likely that so are torture, rape, slavery and experiments on humans. Honourable mention to Josef Mengele, a Nazi doctor during World War 2, who liked to experiment on twins - it probably can yield some interesting results if you lack empathy. Absolute evil. And similar evil is happening right now (not specifically experiments on humans, but other stuff) while other people live reasonably comfortable lives unaware or willingly ignorant.

Twin studies is an actual thing nowadays too, but obviously in a civil manner. Having two or more people of a similar genetic structure is useful, you can learn if a disease is heritable within a certain probability.

I'm not really all that scientifically minded but, I think there are specific attributes about the prescribed type that make them better for the SN method. I vaguely remember: 'inhibitor' being part of the correct phrase but, I can't remember it.

Not that they always seem to stop people being sick though. It still seems to happen quite a bit. I'm wondering if you can take more than one. Maybe if I buy an over the counter one too, it may support my expired Meto... Maybe they'll clash though.

I'd like to preface this to hopefully help people not make rash decisions due to the fear that their suicide method will go "bad" and they feel forced to take it before they truly want to. Freedom of choice means everything. There is a lot of misconception on here about how long both of these...

I too bought SN to have on hand just in case as it's availability lessened. If I felt assured it would be available I wouldn't have. Now it's just sitting in arms reach waiting to be consumed. Not exactly the heathiest idea from a recovery standpoint. For long term purposes I've researched locally grown poisonous plants. I know those methods tend to be on the side of excruciatingly painful but an option is an option and jumping/train/hanging aren't how I want to go.

Poisonous plants are much less reliable than hanging (and jumping if at right height). I'll probably do hanging if SN becomes unavailable.
