Venting I feel like a foolish little girl

I go to a small uni, and there is an app called 'Fizz'. It's kinda like Reddit but for college students. And I made a post about wanting to get married (which is true) and some guy private messaged me. He said something quirky like 'let's get married' and I played along. We had great banter and had a few things in common. One of them being that we're both Christians. He was charismatic and funny in our chat. For example I still haven't eaten dinner yet and he seemed concerned….


Anyways after talking a bit more he asked for my ig. I told him my handle and he left the chat… I'm seriously crying right now for being such an idiot. His major is completely different from mine so I hope we don't run into each other. But it still worries me that he might notice me one day, but I won't notice him. I went to go pick up my grocery order and passed by a guy on his phone, I was thinking it could be him. It probably wasn't but I got anxiety in that moment. I'm so embarrassed

But what Can I say? I'm such an ugly deformed looking bitch. I've been sobbing while unpacking my groceries. I'm starting to think I'll never find love

I understand how much it hurts but I will not pretend to be able to understand your individual pain, as it is individual. But I want to say that in regards to relationship and anything of this sort, people that aren't into situationships(Like i am not), get a chance to connect, really be able to connect with someone on soul-level, pretty rarely, as such, we are starving for affection, true love, and we tend to take every sign of interest expressed towards ourselves with hope of it developing into something profound. And it always hurts afterwards. However trust me, chances are high, that no matter what your appearance is, you WILL find somebody who will warm you and with whom around u will feel safe and yourself. It will happen. It absolutely will. Do not give up. U got it.

I forgot to add that while I was unpacking and putting away my groceries I saw some of them that I didn't pay for. I won't say that that I have never gotten free groceries before, but it's more likely that the delivery person forgets what's in my cart. They are usually very uptight about that

So I think that Elohim (the God that sees) wanted to cheer me up! He knew I was sad and barley had enough money to buy the groceries I paid for as is.so as I've been crying, I've been thanking God

Hey there, i know how it feels, i don't know how to word this but i don't quite like my looks either, i think i look hideous, but all i can say is if you keep searching you will find somebody. I know anyone can find a partner, even i could if i lost my anxiety and knew how to interact with people. I wish you the best

I know how you feel, one time I was minding my own business when some random girl messaged me on ig and told me, word for word to to delete my profile picture bc I wasn't attractive. Turns out she was my ex gf's best friend, and to rub salt on the wound my gf ended breaking up with me, which in turn led me here.

I really do want to get married. It's just that this experience really left a bad taste in my mouth. But thank you for understanding me and the really sweet message
