sadly, i come across a lot of true crime shit that i have no interest in watching, but it pops up in my recommended on youtube.
and it often includes stories of little piece of shit kids who did some vile crimes.
it's not that i particularly think MY genes would create bad offspring, it's just the culture i live in.

all the wrong shit is being promoted...
and with my luck lol, i bet my kid would turn out to be some vile little piece of shit.

and even if that's not the case... i wouldn't wish this world upon my worst enemy.

Just think about being a good loving parent and everything will go well...usually we don't know all the story of how kids and people turn out to be pieces of shit, but I bet they didn't had great parents in first place.

In most cases, children who end up committing crimes do so due to a mixture of nature and nurture. Usually, they might already be somewhat predisposed to behaving in an antisocial manner and then that is only worsened by certain environmental factors, such as maltreatment, socioeconomic status, how their parents raise them, and so on. Referring to children who commit these sorts of crimes as "little pieces of shit" kind of makes me feel like you are being too quick to judge the children themselves without taking into consideration the shit that causes this behaviour to begin with. Anyone is capable of doing heinous things, it's just that most of us haven't been pushed enough to the edge to do so. For a child to do something so awful there is likely a lot of shit going on that we might not be aware of. This is to say that we should look at shit like this from a more nuanced lens and not be quick to just slap a label on these kids and dehumanize them.

Also, what do you mean by "all the wrong shit is being promoted"? What kind of shit do you mean?

I am glad you said this. Op's simplistic view of criminal behaviour irked me.

Nature loads the gun, nurture pulls the trigger.

Just think about being a good loving parent and everything will go well...usually we don't know all the story of how kids and people turn out to be pieces of shit, but I bet they didn't had great parents in first place.

This is the best approach is you feel it absolutely necessary to bring children into the world.

Of course they will be harmed while outside of your supervision, but that is the risk you take by bringing children into the world.

Having someone to trust when harm does come to them will lessen the blow greatly.

A great majority of people who commit violent crimes did so because of their shit upbringings. But there are those rare instances of kids whose parents did everything they could, but their kids just came from hell and couldn't be helped.
I think nowadays too many people have kids on a whim without the thought of what exactly it means to bring another person into the earth and what the consequences of not raising them properly are.
Pretty much it's hope for the best.
Personally I think the world is heading towards a disgusting and grim direction and we really shouldn't be procreating anymore knowing that future generations are going to suffer the worst.

If you do mot have any interest in watching them, why do you? That just tells YouTube you actually do want to watch them and it will serve you more.

Having a child in itself is immoral, but why would you want to have a child when you are already mentally ill?

I'd be more worried about them being bullied or harmed by others. Not saying I would be a great parent and would create great offspring. I find it more likely they would turn out shy and insecure though. Seems much safer not to expose them to that (likely) risk to begin with. I wish my parents had figured that out.
