Not deep enough clearly, I am sitting here contemplatin g what to do now... I don't think I have the ocurage to try again, maybe I should though. I am probably going to have to go to the hospital if I don't die ...which sucks, and makes me feel like mo much more of a failureit hurts it has mostly stopped bleeding idk I should finish the job, idk why I don't

All options are probably scary for you right now, and it hurts my heart that that's the case. You aren't a failure, for getting to this point or for still being alive after your attempt. I'm so sorry that it has turned out for you where you have quite literally attempted. I'm relieved that you are still here but at the same time I'm sorry that you're feeling like this now after the fact and that it hurts so much.

Death via bloodloss is very difficult as the human body is amazing at recovering from bloodloss and also not bleeding out.
To reach anything vital you need to cut through the fascia which is significantly more painful then cutting through skin. However you can cut enough veins to reach a potentially lethal bloodflow rate.
Semi high pressure continuous water flow over the wound helps prevent clotting and from personal experience stops the wound from hurting.
I think its a lot easier to bleed out as a male because at least for me my body didn't give any signal of suffocation till i was minutes away from passing out. But now I experience it after comparatively minor bloodloss. It may also be due to trauma tho, I'm unsure.
It's kinda funny to cut major vascular tissue bc blood literally squirts out even from veins.

I'd also lie abt how u got that cut to medical staff to avoid burdensome conversation but its upto you.

You would need to hit your jugular to actually manage to die this way. Your brain will physically stop you from being able to do this. You will not be able to finish the job, maybe unless you are already nearly unconscious from heavily sedating drugs. If you haven't already, clean up yourself, go to the hospital, get stitches, wear a turtleneck.
