There are amphibious centipedes that exist underwater and can just chill out there, I think it's pretty awesome!

I'm never going near a body of water ever again. Lol.

That is interesting though. I didn't know those existed. I guess they can store a lot of oxygen? Or can just get it from the water?

This is a recently discovered new species of sea anemone. It has a symbiotic relationship with hermit crabs. The anemone attaches to the shell and grows with the crab. The crab no longer has to abandon the shell to get a larger one. I think they're cute.

Honestly, there's only a handful of such amphibious centipedes. There's little known (to my knowledge of course) about these species because of how recent they are in discovery!! :D

If you check the woke games detected list you'll find some games marked for woke with pretty funny and stupid reasons.

For example, one game was marked as woke because it preached mental health and self acceptance.

Disco Elysium is marked for woke due to something along the lines of "commenting on communism, unclear anti or pro."

Obviously all games with any LGBT is on the list, aside from LGBT other reasons to mark games as woke include "pro-climate action, anti-colonialism, anti-patriarchy, mental disorders, games that are too lazy to have a script that tracks the gender of the player and default to them/them" Amongst other stupid reasons.

Bones in your fingers can be split up into 3 main parts: The proximal bone (attached to the metacarpal bone protruding out of your wrist), the middle bone (attached to proximal), and the distal bone (attached to middle).

This is consistent for all fingers... Except the thumb.
For some reason, in the thumb, evolution decided to stretch out the proximal and the distal bones, and then shrink the middle bone down as much as possible. As a result, we have a very tiny 'sesamoid bone' in our thumbs.
Why not just take it out altogether? Well, evolution is like an eccentric, hoarding grandfather who loves to keep the most useless bullshit around 'just incase he might need it later'.

That is my fear now. I want to be a song producer, BUT, the AI is in everything! Even the propaganda have a AI video, AI song, AI speeches.... I have a genuine fear of the future of AI....

Thoughts on afterlife
If the afterlife requires consciousness, and consciousness ends at death, then most "eternity" is already over before it begins. Even if I were to be reborn and become a different person because of the circumstances, the thought is somehow unsettling, and for some, probably comforting at the same time. If one miracle/curse can happen, why not a second?

My take is that it's either eternal nothingness or rebirth

That's quite scientific. But how about on a soul level or spiritual level.

I think that something is there, if this existence is similar to hell, then there has to be something better.

In my opinion... the eternal silence of nothingness in death is something better than this cursed life we have.

I just learned about the biggest documented beaver dam on record. It was discovered by satellite image in 2007. It wasn't seen in satellite images from the 1980s. Even park rangers didn't discover it as it's in a very remote area in Canada. It's thought that the project was carried out by multiple generations of beavers. Current beavers are working to join a smaller side dam to the main dam, making it even bigger!

It is believed that the McDonald's McRib is a limited item due to fluctuating prices and supply of pork. It is also believed that scarcity of the item drives up sales. McDonald's official reason is "we like to change up our menu throughout the year by offering some limited time only items."

The concept of the soul has never felt convincing to me.

If the soul truly existed apart from the body, it wouldn't be influenced by brain damage. But in reality, injuries or illness can completely change a person's personality, their moral judgments, and their memories. If the soul is truly something non-physical, something separate from the body, then it shouldn't depend on the brain at all. The fact that it does shows that what we call the soul isn't operating independently. When the brain changes, the person changes. When the brain fails, the experience of being a single self disappears. That's exactly why the traditional idea of a soul, something immaterial and separate, doesn't really hold up.

I don't want to attack anyone's beliefs. Even so, I respect other perspectives 🤗
Although annihilation sounds appealing to me, I hope I'm wrong, with my take

I'm fond of the theory that our universe exists inside of a black hole. It's just interesting to consider.

in Brazil, there is a VERY famous legend about pink river dolphin: the story goes that on party nights, the dolphin turns into this super handsome guy, all dressed up in a sharp white suit and hat. he goes around, sweeps women off their feet, spends the night with them… and then POOF, vanishes at dawn, right back into the river.
back in the day, if a woman got pregnant and there was no 'father' around, folks would say the kid was 'the dolphin's daughter' lol 1768538345287
