I'm so tired man, I wanted to do the ligature method so I can die in my bed but I can't find those damn arteries. I've tried everywhere on my neck, even using socks to pad it to add pressure. I've definitely gotten my jugulars because of the swelling feeling but I can't get those damn carotids. Please help I'm begging. I'd even post a picture of my neck if that helps. I don't even know if I should keep experimenting or if I should give my body a chance to rest but I'm so tired. I've been trying for 3 days now. All I get is the feeling of blood filling up my head which means it's only the jugulars. Why are my arteries made of steel or some shit

I second this! I too have tried the "efficient" methods posted here, but I get the same results as you!

I haven't tried every method, but I live with people so I can't try too hard too frequently. It really sucks. Idk if it's the pressure or what.

I'd say relax, and try to document as much as possible, learn some anatomy or something, and take it easy. there has to be ways to test it without being in pain. Don't break anything you don't need to break by doing a ton of "attempts", chill, go slow, and feel your body, this is not something to do without planning, if your reason to ctb is to alliviate your pain, don't hurt yourself for no reason.
Hope you get better, in any way that you feel like that is. In this world or the next. But be kind to yourself. You deserve at least that.

Use a self-tightening ligature such as a noose knot with a stopper knot added so that the knot won't come undone, also if you are gonna do partial hanging, please do it in a standing position but can obviously escape, and make sure the knot is at the left or right ear situated so that it will tighten the knot to the back of the neck and make sure the rope is above your adam's apple which is where the carotid artery's is most effective on being compressed, I always felt dizzy from the full suspension hanging but partial hanging without standing position takes a lot of effort to find the right spot, anyway's here is the knot you want to use:

Sorry for the dumb question, I'm a girl so I don't really have a visible adams apple. Is there any other way to tell?
