Humans are not "innocent" beings in the slightest,why do we often wallow in self pity and scream injustice only when it affects us or selected groups?

I mean, I know I guess. We are full of contradictions and we use words as a tool, often subconciously. But still, if self awareness exists why is it such a rare trait to see in humans?

It seems we are just focused on our emotions and selected environments while logic is nowhere to be found. Never looking at the bigger picture really. If we did, we would realise that life is just chaos and anything goes. Concepts people made are just there to manipulate others into compliance or extract things.

Life is just a big lie and a distraction for humanity. At least animals just do things without being able to engage in hypocrite talks, or at least I hope so.
