Help how to make chloroform?

does anyone know if pure/purchased chloroform is more reliable than making it yourself? (bleach + rubbing alcohol or acetone) I found chloroform in an online shop in which I was thinking of buying, however if I can much more quickly make it myself, would it have similar enough effects as an anesthetic ? also, how reliable is it to just drink chloroform? (I know it causes chemical burn, but how much do you feel it until you black out?)

yeah i figured, playing around with chemicals is dangerous, never was great in chemistry so I'll definitely restudy it before doing risky stuff, thanks <333
