How to land on head

How do i ensure I land on my head or definitely avoid landing on my feet when jumping from a cliff please?

I'm not sure if you can really " ensure " either of those. Main thing I imagine is how high you are jumping from. With the proper height, it shouldn't matter how you land.

Thank you. It's beachy head in England which is about 550 feet. I guess I want to ensure I die instantly and avoid suffering or any chance of survival.

Am really scared of heights so diving off isn't an option. The only way would for me to just jump I think

From such a height u will die instantly anyways just make sure not to land on your feet (it will kill you either way but it might take longer) and to fall on a hard, flat surface u will most likely on either your front or back u cant really ensure that u fall on your head and u dont need to worry about that.

That's why you start on a 1-meter board and gradually work your way up. If you can't progress any further, that's fine — at least you've learned the basics of diving.

At 550 feet you can skip the diving lessons. I assume the landing area does not have a huge airbag, and even if it did, it won't matter. You would have to be an amazingly lucky person to survive.

U would be extremly unlucky if u fell on your feet naturally but it wouldnt matter anyways the impact from 167 meters is 100% going to kill you even if u fall on your feet, a fall from even 18 meters (60 feet) is almost always lethal so u dont need to worry about that. Just leaning will be good but like i said before it really doesnt matter how u land only a miracle could save you.

I saw faces of death years ago and a suicide jumper went over backwards from a seated position. This may or may not help, but at 550 feet I don't think it will matter.

So thank you for the reassurance that at that height it would guarantee death (hopefully instant too).
Guess im going to have to try and take a run up and then jump to avoid any ledges. Although I think they have a rope fence and also wardens/chaplains patrolling as beachy head is such a popular suicide spot.

From that height it is unlikely to matter how you land, provided you get a "clean" fall (i.e. you don't hit some part of the cliff on the way down), and you land on rocks (not the sea). Your chance of surviving will be very small.

basically agree with most people. If you are jumping from that height, the chances of an instant death are extremely high regardless of the way you land. I think the biggest concern when it comes to jumping is getting over your SI. To me, that is more the issue. Once you get past that when jumping at that height, you work is basically done after that big leap.

Thank you. My biggest fear as well as SI is getting a clean jump so I don't hit any rocks or land on a ledge on the way down. I know they do patrols there so cant really do a good reccy as they have rope fences around so panicking about where to jump from

Thank you. Yes I agree. Once I get over my SI the next big fear is getting a clean jump and not hitting anything on the way down. Difficult to have a good look over edge prior to jump because they have constant suicide patrol wardens there and also a rope fence so would cause suspicion.
Guess I will just have to go for it and hope for the best. Take a massive leap to peace and freedom.

May i suggest attaching an anvil or something equivalent to your head, perhaps worn as a (well strapped in) hat, then logically, when falling, the heavy weight would shift your balance in a way where you fall head first ! It comes with the benefit of having high comedic potential depending on what kind of looneytunes-esque device you choose as a weight. You could even simply crucify yourself on something that's heavily weighted on one side for the same effect when falling !

Thank you. Yes I thought leaning would be a good option, once I get over my SI fear. But next fear is how to get a clean jump and avoid any rocks or ledges. Hard to do a reccy as rope fence and suicide patrol volunteers

I just want lights out asap and as instant and pain free as possible hence my choice of method. Just need to overcome SI and ensure I don't hit any rocks or ledges on the way down.

Thank you. Yes its Beachy Head in England which is famous for suicides. Rock solid land and mostly sheer cliff face. My biggest fear other than SI is ensuring I avoid any rocks or ledges on the way down. Sadly there is now a rope fence around so you cant take a running jump for it plus suicide patrol volunteers so don't want to cause suspicion by looking over to check. Everything is so hard
