Parents took my SN third time. I am admitted in hospital ( psych ward) since 1 month. Said no to ECT.

I am sure my life can't be fixed and I accept that. So, what method should I choose if I want less pain: Jumping from a 10 floor building or hanging method.

Jumping chin tucked and head first seems very scary method to me but death is sure.

If I fail in CTB now I will be involuntarily given ECT, I think.

Jumping from a 10 floor building, if head first, would probably be an instant death.

I know this isn't what you asked (to answer your question there'd likely be no pain— instant death ٩( 'ω' )و) but as someone who's tried it, ECT is not so bad, I'd say you should just go for it >w<

When it comes to jumping, from what I've gathered you need to make sure that the height is high enough in order to achieve instantaneous death no matter your body's position/rotation (people advice that you try to land on your head but it's incredibly hard to control your body while free falling). Using building stories is too inconsistent of a measurement since a story can vary in height, it's better to know the exact height in meters/feet.

Thank you, what height in meters or feet will definitely work?

Instant death or if you survive you'll be knocked out in less than a second and won't feel a thing.

For jumping: not landing on your feet dramatically increases your CTB chances.
If one wants to make sure that they won't land on their feet, they should jump backwards, its impossible to land on your feet unless you are trained as a diver.

What about a building that is over 300ft/~100 meters?
