How does someone survive falling off a building?

I can't wrap my head around this. Besides that, it's my #3 option atm, but seeing that a few people have survived terrifies me.

Maybe if I fall and hit my head right into the concrete it'll kill me? How many floors? How do you even trespass security?

I suppose if you land in just the right way all the energy can be absorbed by your body by pulverizing all your meat, bones etc but leaving the head intact enough

I'm pretty sure it has everything to do with the angle you land at. If you land the wrong way, there's a chance of survival.

Jumping is my plan B. If things get to bad I'll have no choice.

There can be some trees that're in your way, so they will be like a cushion but depending on how to get hit... it may lead you to be paraplegic person for the rest of your life. If you are doing in a high building with a lot of people down there, i dont think that's fair... but if there isnt, the choice is always yours.

You could hit your head but part of the impact be absorved by your chest...

I think that CTB method is risky. Have more chances to have irreversible consequences.

Jumping is a hard way to go. You'd need a high enough spot (15+ stories ideally) with access and a good landing. All the popular suicide spots will have barriers already.

The only way to survive a high fall is to land on your feet, if you land in any other position you'll destroy internal organs and/or your brain. I'm not sure what you can do to make sure you don't land that way, though. If you're not already experienced with something like diving it could be difficult to control your body, especially when you'd probably be in a full on panic.

From falling from too short a height and/or landing on the wrong place. The higher one falls from, the more likely they are to die. If their head hits the ground, they're most likely to die, whereas landing on ones feet/legs means less chance of dying. So if someone jumps from an insufficient height and lands feet-first, chances are they're just gonna be using a wheelchair from now on.

You can even accidentaly fall on someone and give them injuries or even kill both of you if you jump onto the street

This. It's all about angles, probably body composition, and a bit of luck. There are people that have died falling from 2 stories and there are people that have survived falling from 12.
