I'm rewriting all my notes, but the problem is that I feel like no matter how much I correct my words and think of what I write, it always ends up sounding like I'm trying to guilt trip the other person.

Maybe it doesn't matter, since I'll be dead, but I don't want people to hate me more than they already do…

How do you write notes without coming off as guilt trippy?

Simple - don't write any!

My advice would be to just try and emphasize that it's not anyone's fault as best as you can. If you're mentioning someone else's actions directly, you can say how you feel, you know it's only your emotions, but you don't want anyone to feel guilty in the end. Basically, try to take as much of the fault as you can if you're comfortable with that. Remember you can't feel bad about it once you're gone anyway, and how they react is on them. Take care and I hope you find a way to do what you need.
