A student called his counsellor to check if his parents would get money if he withdrew from his course. They said yes and he killed himself after but like how?

I always hear otc aren't effective, cutting deeply with a blade is too excruciating to go deep enough, you won't actually jump when you have vertigo and we don't have access to guns where I live.

I know on here you have crazy chemicals or whatever but the average person how do they just die? Like what do they do?

I have no idea, I've been asking myself the same question. I bet they do something impulsive like jumping, OD or one of those other risky methods and take the risk lol. It's just that failed suicide attempts are less known of so we only hear about the successful ones. But of course failed attempts are much more common. For every successful attempt there are probably previous 3+ attempts behind it

no idea. some just brute force it and go with it and have no regrets, theres people who regret but end up dead from what they did, yk like how theres marks on peoples neck who hang themselves. sometimes some people can just accidentally do it too, no idea how though lol.

maybe people just lose a part of themselves and they can just do it in that moment, worry free and without a 2nd thought or no debating in their head. some people also just never get checked on too, so they have enough prep time and can just immeditaly do it without worrying about others. sometimes loneliness makes it easy, stress or whatever.

cosmic's comment makes sense though same for jassie. but, hopefully therell be an answer one day. it could probably explain a lot more things.

I really understand, I always suffer so much from being denied the option to just painlessly cease existing so finally I can be at peace from this torturous, dreadful existence that just causes harm and suffering with no limit as to how much one can be tortured.

I only envy those who no longer suffer in this existence, I see it as such terrible cruelty how the option to cease existing peacefully with no more pain and no more suffering is so cruelly denied with the suffering and torture of existing seen as to force and prolong no matter what.

That's pretty much it. Even if you set a date X, when the date comes, ambivalence will usually stop you, and you may take multiple attempts and failures to habituate with the idea, until you can finally commit to it with calm resolve, even if there's still some anxiety. That's how it works on me, I had an impulsive SN sip, but at that moment I wasn't sure or confident I wanted to off myself in that exact moment, so I panicked. However, the more I internalise the thooght, the calmer I am about it and the more convinced I become that I want to do it and have much less ambivalence toward it.

Did you jump into a lake in the winter or was the water warm? How did your u survive were u rescued or did you swim back to shore or something?

How did you survive sipping SN?!?!

I must've had a small amount. I have a bottle with 45-50g in it, in 200ml water, i took a sip, swallowed some, then instantly spat out any residue and rinsed mouth. I guenuinely couldn't tell you how much I had, it was an impulse and I was not really in control, and I had virtually no symptoms other than heart racing due to stress. At the time I thought that you needed minimum 20g to off yourself, so I would've thought that 5g would've been 'safe.' Which means I got lucky in some way.

can you still consider people normies if they have suicidal ideation that leads to them killing themselves? i don't think there's a discernable line between a regular person and a suicidal person. it's just based in their desire to do it.

it was the winter .. part of the lake was frozen over. it was so cold. and i swam to shore, which was surprising to me. i've never been able to swim before
