I'm new to all of this so I don't know. How do I get SN? Do I have to get them from a specific person or is there somewhere else I can get it?

With that being said, SN availability varies from country to country. Depending on where you live, you can get it from local online shopping center or you will have to resort to international shipping.
Basically, googling chemical's full name in English (sodium nitrite) or other other language, associated with country where SN is readily available, like in Polish (azotyn sodu) would yield at least several sources.Similar threads
