Makes me really wish I was a vet. :pfff:

I've become a member of Pegasos and they may or may not give me the green light, but it's not an instantly accessible method. It costs a lot of money, I'll need to get documentation together and I'll need to travel to die.

It just frustrates me how animals are allowed to be euthanised in the UK but humans aren't. A peaceful death should be a basic human right.
It does make sense why there would be many vet suicides, because of access to N. I think many people want to ctb but they are put off because they lack the courage and cannot access supplies. If N was easily avaliable to people then the general suicide rates would rapidly increase.

And that's exactly what this society we live in DOESN'T want. They don't want suicide rates to increase because they believe everyone can be helped. Not everyone can be helped. Some people have treatment resistant mental health issues and others have been diagnosed with diseases for which there's no cure and staying alive will only prolong their suffering. And then there are some people who can't take the medications they've been prescribed due to side-effects. I for one cannot take antidepressants because they worsen my neurological sleep disorder. Nobody should be forced to stay alive if they have zero quality of life.

I'd love to have a final meal with loved ones and peacefully pass away into Oblivion.

I was watching This Morning TV the other day and I must admit I was a bit shocked as there was a man with a few rescue dogs and he said well they have a time limit to find them homes but he also said about people taking their healthy animals/pets into the vets to have them euthanized which is sad.

I'm looking for a volunteer, to take me to the vets, :smiling:
