How can the universe exist without me?!?

Sometimes when I think of me being dead I ask myself, how can the universe even exist without me in it?
What is even life without me?
I am all I have ever known.
There is no life without me.

I am so special to myself, that I cannot imagine life without me being a part of it.
Does anyone here relate to this feelings?
I am sure I am not the only one who thought these thoughts.

well, when you think about it the universe doesn't exist without yourself. the universe and life in general is basically a figment of our imagination when you break it down. When we die there is nothing, the only reason we feel anything right now is because were alive.

That thought comforts me actually. I like the thought of me not existing and life just continuing without me. We are all meaningless and insignificant and we all will be forgotten eventually. Once we are gone from this world, the universe is no longer of our concern as we will simply not be able to feel anything.
