Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Thank you so much, Brigitte, for your fight for animals. You were a very generous, genuine person, always saying what you thought, which is extremely rare in the show business. In fact, it brought you a lot of problems. You even fled this world where people pretend, and you were right to prefer animals over humans.

I am not sad to hear of your passing because you didn't love this era, and rightly so. Thank you again for the signed photo you sent me ❤️

🕊️🕯️ Rest in peace, dear Brigitte 🕯️🕊️

Today I discovered that she tried to CTB multiple times and suffered from depression when she was young. I didn't know that.

Here is an article talking about it (in french) :

Extract of the article translated in english :

This being one of the reasons explaining her emotional distress. "I was about to kill myself and I was saved by a miracle," without however saying much more. In an interview from 2013, she stated that it was her love of animals that kept her alive. "I often realize that if I hadn't taken care of animals, I would have killed myself, like Marilyn Monroe and Romy Schneider did."

Brigitte Bardot says she fought against the loneliness linked to her fame, and that she had difficulty managing her status as a 1960s sex symbol. A sense of malaise that followed her for a long time and that still follows her. "Every morning, I wake up and I am sad," she also says.

In her autobiography, she also returned to her painful episodes. "You have to reach a terrifying point of no return to have the courage to kill yourself. It is a definitive act to shorten an unbearable suffering, moral or physical. Sometimes, it seems impossible to live the next five minutes of an existence of absolute distress" she had written. An eternal defender of the animal cause, she concludes the documentary Bardot as follows: "I don't give a damn whether people remember me, but what I would like is for them to remember the respect that is owed to animals."
