i've texted and called the 988 many times. id find myself lying about my age and if i have homicidal ideation. but i wouldn't lie abt suicidal ideation because for some reason they will track you down even more if you want to kill someone other than yourself. they don't care. they don't want to help. real help is NOT available.
another thing is that when i would sign up for those weekly check-ins i would choose a specific date and time but they would call me every other day than what i chose. i chose sunday at 3 pm and they didnt call me the whole day. then on monday they called me at 11 am while i was at school. like theres a reason i gave you a specific time?
i get that some operators and help professionals are working hard and they truly care but most of them are bullshit. like who doesn't do it for money?
this is why assisted death should be thing. you shouldn't be forcing someone to live if it physically hurts.
