I like the answers so far ! One thing I realized after being on this site for over 5 months now is don't ever tell anyone irl or give any hints to anyone irl that you are thinking about suicide or planning it. And if you get too close to someone on here and or give out too much personal information someone on here might selfishly make a call about you.

No never told anyone IRL, it's way too risky and dangerous. CTB'ing itself is already arduous as it takes research, knowledge, planning, and what not just to obtain the method, then waiting for the right conditions and time to ctb, as well as building the courage to overcome that big (psychological) elephant in the room called the SI (survival instinct).
It's also really difficult to maintain a normal front (or as close to normal as possible) IRL while being true to ourselves here as it takes a lot of energy to do so. While I'm not imminently going to ctb, I'm just obtaining my method so that I can check out when things get too shitty to bear.

I consider this place my dirty secret.Absolutely not. My sister has a tiny inkling on what I'm planning so I'm keeping quiet. When I told her I'd watched a suicide video she got her knickers in a bunch so I'm putting on a normal front now.

No, but I'm definitely too blasé about browsing the site in public. I'll be like buying a Kitkat at the gas station with "Sanctioned Suicide" in giant letters across my phone screen, lol.I told my only irl friend that i'm spending my time on site for suicidal people, but didn't tell him the name. He said to me it's probably not legal. I constantly tell him that i'm going to ctb, so it didn't surprise him.

My friend knows I'm on a 'bad site', but not the name or anything. Have mentioned it on Reddit a few times too.Yes, I told a couple people I know. They are not contemplating ctb so I doubt they will be hanging out here.

Yes, my only faithful friend knows about this forum, but I did not tell him the URL or the name. He supports me in my decision and gives me a lot of useful advices. I know him since childhood and he is probably the only one for pro choice in my social circle.

I've thought about telling my boyfriend about the site but real quick stopped myself because I didn't want to end up in the psych ward for god knows how long and I don't want to incriminate myself or anyone on this site.
